Student cabin
SiVolda has been granted a license to purchase cottage land in Folkestad. The plot is located in a scenic area by Folkestaddalsvatnet where the old Lærarskulehytta stood.
Lærskulehytta was a popular destination for students for several decades. The cabin was eventually in such bad shape that it was demolished in 2018.
The plan is to build a new student cabin if we get the necessary approvals from Volda municipality.
